The victory in the Second Karabakh War in 2020, as well as the 23-hour anti-terror operation in September 2023, ensured the constitutional sovereignty of the Republic of Azerbaijan. This was the primary goal and meaning of the life of the Azerbaijani society and state, the victory of the National Idea declared by President Ilham Aliyev.

The next target of the National Idea is the Return to Western Azerbaijan movement, for which the President of the country has approved a roadmap.

The conference will be dedicated to the scientific discussion of the historical, legal, political, cultural, and socio-philosophical aspects of the concept of Return to Western Azerbaijan, which is one of the ideological foundations of modern Azerbaijani statehood.
